چکیده

Increasing environmental awareness has led to a growing interest in natural dyes the textile dyeing industry as consumers become more aware of toxicity synthetic that are harmful environment and health. Although environmentally friendly compared dyes, general their performance is less than dyes. Typically, metallic mordants used enhance affinity materials, perhaps this process breaks journey green story. In work, we perform potential alternative for metal mordant soy protein bio-mordant cotton fabric with dye extracted from Syzygium cumini fruits. Sonochemical mordanting were examined conventional water bath. experiments, characteristics such ultrasonic power, temperature, pH, duration, concentration during process. FT-IR, color measurements, washing, crocking, light fastness tests monitor effects both baths. Overall, sonochemical-assisted was shown considerably increase absorption K/S values Experiments work yield valuable insights into development routes toward utilization bio-mordants on cellulose-based materials. Using mordanted colored fabrics comparison, it found sonic method costs 9.56 €/kg while methods cost 9.91 €/kg, sonicated required (i.e., € 0.35) bath techniques, nevertheless, produce darker method. Meanwhile, increased severely wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). More that, not sustainable choice.

Comparison of dyeing of polyester fibers with natural dye and bio-mordant

In this study, dyeing of two regenerated polyester fibers, poly-trimethylene terephthalate (PTT) and poly-lactic acid (PLA), with natural dyes were compared with that of poly-ethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber. Lac was used as the primary natural colorant while Catechu was chosen as a natural color that can also act as a biomordant. The effects of temperature, initial pH of dye bath and dyeing ...
